Vengeance A Freedom Planet 2 Alternate Ending Chapter Two As Neera exited the bridge, she found herself calming down just a little, just from being out of Merga’s presence. It was all too obvious what room Carol and Milla had taken Lilac; all she had to do was follow the trail of blood. The doors slid open, and the panda stepped into a small room, which contained a metal bed, security camera, a small window in the far wall which gave a view of the stars, and below that, a bath tub which the wildcat and hound had set Lilac in, and opened the faucet to full. As water gushed in to slowly cover the unconscious dragon, Milla pulled out her handheld bag of crushed life petals, immediately turning it over and depositing the entire contents into the water. Neera approached the tub, and saw that the water was already turning red; from the petals or Lilac’s blood, she couldn’t tell. “How long before we can tell if it’s working?” Carol asked, kneeling next to Milla as the hound

Merga sat on the folded wings of her Blue Moon armor, doubling as a hovering command chair as she looked at the holographic projection of the moon in the center of Bakunawa’s bridge with the actual moon appearing through the transparent image as well as the large viewport. “Time to optimal extraction range?” The water dragon asked the drone that had been plugged into the ship’s systems at the front of the room. “Thirty-two minutes, seventeen seconds,” Pangu replied. Not that anything was going to happen within that time frame; the focusing crystal would have to be replaced, a two hour task at minimum; not to mention the pest problem that her associates had proven quite unable to solve. At least they had saved her the trouble of dealing with that blasted snake. She heard the access door on the port side open with a hiss, followed by running footsteps. “Merga!” She instantly recognized the voice a half-second before turning to face the intruder. She glared down at the lavender

The Fox and the Seedrian: Frontiers by milesprower06 Chapter Eight Lily felt and heard the snow crunch beneath her feet with every step she took across the snow-capped glacier. She walked alongside her dad, with Sonic a few paces ahead of them, and BD continually scanning the ice to make sure everything was stable as they made their way across the ice caps towards the old Death Egg launch zone. They had stopped for dinner in one of the more intact dining areas in the dilapidated carnival, before making camp on the other side, before the hills gave way to the glacier that took up the next portion of their journey across and around Angel Island. Thankfully, it wasn’t windy, but visibility wasn’t helped by the currently clear skies, which allowed the late morning sun to shine directly on the snow, causing the trio to put on shaded goggles to avoid snow blindness. “You’ve been quiet today, Lily,” Tails began. “Still thinking about those whispers from last night?” Lily

Our Future: A Freedom Planet Story - Chapter 14
Merga walked alongside Lilac, Cordelia, and Mayor Zao as they walked along the docks of Shang Tu, coming up to the Red Zenith, Zao’s personal ship, and the Crimson Eel, that had been put in the care of Corazon Tea. Mayor Zao would be returning to the Shang Mu Royal Palace with his new unexpected but eventually welcome charge, while the Eel would be taking Cordelia and Lilac over the arctic tundra flats to decommission the underground lab, and then returning them here to Shang Tu right after making a delivery in Shuigang. As the Red Zenith was parked in front and would be departing first, they had come to that loading ramp first, and the group stopped as Zao turned and looked up at the trio of dragons, cradling the newborn hatching Aadi, wrapped in a blue blanket. “I am fully aware of the trust being placed in me by being allowed to depart with her, ladies, and I am very appreciative of that. I look forward to having you all visit, and hope you enjoy watching her grow as much as I

Lilac made her way down the basement corridor that Mayor Gong had pointed her down. The door at the end of the hallway was open, and led into a large storage room. She counted five rows of steel shelves, each with dozens of plastic crates stacked on them. She passed the rows one by one, until she saw Cordelia digging through a couple crates that had been pulled down to the floor. “Morning, mom,” Lilac greeted, coming up to the crate that was between her and Cordelia, and the earth dragon looked up at her. “Lilac… Good morning. Look, I’m… I’m sorry about last night. I made a fool of myself,” Cordelia apologized. Lilac took a quiet breath, and looked Cordelia in the eyes. “Mom, do you believe that you’re not allowed to be angry because of what happened to Merga and the rest of the water dragons?” Lilac began. “Or because you didn’t realize the monster your father really was until it was too late? Even after all this time? After you’ve finally started to restore the population?

Cordelia slowly came to, sprawled out on her side of the bed, and was immediately grateful that she hadn’t had enough wine last night to warrant a hangover. She gave out a stretch, and as she did so, reached over to Merga’s side of the bed, and found it empty. Looking over, she indeed found Merga nowhere on the bed, nor in the room as she took a glance around the room, before pulling the sheets off of herself and swinging her legs over the side of the mattress, coming up into a sitting position. She glanced down at the digital clock on the nightstand, seeing that it was 8 AM, which was a rather late start for her. She got up and went to the room’s private bathroom and took a quick shower, before getting dressed in a clean pair of robes. Putting on her indoor sandals, she figured she would find Merga down in the dining room for breakfast. Making her way down the stairs to the palace common areas, and when she got to the dining room, she found Gong at the head of the table, and was

Cordelia paced back and forth in front of the queen bed in her old bedroom, a glass of Shang Tusian Marselan in her right hand. She had downed half the glass in barely two minutes, hoping it would calm her nerves enough to stop pacing and look at her father’s personal logs that had been decrypted and uploaded onto the datapad that she currently held in her other hand. Merga had been right; in the six months since they had been reunited, she had rarely mentioned her father, for good reason, that train of thought never led to good places. But she also didn’t want to be pacing here, still trying to convince herself by the time Merga came back from Lilac’s room. Taking one more sip of wine followed by one more breath, she raised the data pad up, and pushed the button on the side, turning the screen on. There were a total of six entries, all dated and decrypted. She recognized the date of the first entry; the day she had arrived in Parusa. She had left the palace under the cover of

Lilac was just getting settled down in her guest room for the night, lounging on the couch with a cup of hot cocoa when there was a knock on the door. Setting her cup on the coffee table, she got up, went to the door, and opened it, finding Merga standing there. “Evening, Merga. Figured you would be settling down with mom by now,” Lilac greeted. “Well, we’ve checked on the hatchling. If Zao’s caretaking skills are half as good as his speaking skills, she should be fine for the night; all Zao has to do is keep her warm and fed; she likely won’t be able to open her eyes for another few days. Cordelia is busy checking something… Sensitive, so I figured I’d come and talk with you about tonight’s revelations, as well as what we’ve been dancing around these last few weeks,” Merga told her. “Come in, come in,” Lilac replied, stepping aside to allow the water dragon into the room, before closing the door and going over to the kitchenette to make a second cup of hot cocoa. “Not sharing

With the unexpected arrival in the sitting room, Mayor Gong saw fit to put an end to the evening, with each of the leaders in attendance assuring Cordelia and Merga that they would be contacting their respective adoption and childcare networks in the morning. Ten minutes later, everyone but Cordelia and Merga had all been shown to their rooms in the palace’s guest wing, and the former princess and super soldier had accompanied Mayor Zao to his accommodations, making sure he was supplied with an ample supply of diapers, blankets, and milk for his new charge. “Ladies, please, I assure you, I have this well under control,” Zao told them as he sat against the headboard of his bed, cradling the water dragon hatchling wrapped in a blanket in his arms. “Do you have any idea how many babies I am asked to kiss on a weekly basis?” “I’m… Not exactly sure how comparable that situation is, Your Excellency. We just wanted to make sure you had everything you needed before we retired for the

The Fox and the Seedrian: Frontiers - Ch 7
The Fox and the Seedrian: Frontiers by milesprower06 Chapter Seven Lily admired the ancient stonework and half-buried structures as she, her dad, and Sonic slowly followed behind BD, the hovering drone that was steadily scanning the path ahead for any traps that had survived the landslide years ago. “I wonder what all of this looked like before the landslide,” Lily said. “Or even farther back, when it was populated,” Tails offered. “True, even then, in all the books I’ve read, all they were able to offer were artists’ renderings of what it might have looked like,” Lily replied. “So, like, what kind of traps are we on the lookout for?” “Dart launchers and pressure plates, mostly,” Sonic explained. “Some spike traps too, some of them were even fake and spring-loaded.” Luckily, as they descended the landslide into the flatter valley, BD seemed to scan quicker, and the hiking pace of the group increased overall. In the center of the valley, between the Marble Gardens and
